How to connect
If you don't already have a free personal SeminaryLibrary.com account, then you should get one.
Why two ways to connect and login?
Understanding the two different ways to connect to SeminaryLibrary.com may be the most complicated aspect of using this database.
- If you have a personal SeminaryLibrary.com account, then you may go directly to http://seminarylibrary.com and login using the ID and password SeminaryLibrary.com support staff issued you. You need not go through this page (although you can if you wish). You must use the ID and password SeminaryLibrary.com support staff issue to you to login. Your Turpin Library ID and password will not work. See below how to obtain a personal account.
- If you do not have a personal SeminaryLibrary.com account, just use the link above to connect. If you are on campus, no login is required. If you are off campus, EZProxy will prompt for your Turpin library ID and password, just as it would if you were accessing any other database off campus. (Library ID and password info.) This procedure gives you full search and display options, but it does not allow you to define personal sub-libraries or set certain personal preferences. To use those features, you must have a personal account.
About Free Personal Accounts
- Why have a personal SeminaryLibrary account? Once you have a personal account you will be able to define sub-collections of preferred books and set personal preferences. You will be able to connect directly without going through the library proxy server. This will probably accelerate the speed of your connection since traffic will not have to go through the library proxy server.
- Creating an account requires you to provide a personal email address. It is kept confidential. You will not be added to a spam list.
- It's free! There is no cost to you. The library pays all costs.
