Search BIBLOS from Your Browser Searchbox
You can search BIBLOS from your browser searchbox. This will allow you to search BIBLOS any time you wish without going to the library website and without logging in. To add BIBLOS as a search provider, just follow these steps for Firefox 2 or Internet Explorer 7.
Firefox 2+
In Firefox, navigate to the library website, http://library.dts.edu/. Then activate the dropdown menu adjacent to your browser's built-in search box. See red arrow in Figure 100. (Click the image to see an enlargement.)
From the menu, just pick "Add BIBLOS@DTSLibrary." See Figure 110.

Now BIBLOS will always be available as an option for searches executed in your browser search box.
Internet Explorer 7+
In Internet Explorer version 7+, navigate to the library website, http://library.dts.edu/. Then activate the dropdown menu adjacent to your browser's built-in search box. See red arrow in Figure 200. (Click the image to see an enlargement.)
From the menu, just pick "Add Search Providers ==> BIBLOS@DTSLibrary."

Now BIBLOS will always be available as an option for searches executed in your browser search box.
For the Curious: How does it work?
Pages on the library website contain meta tags that point the browser to a search service provider definition file. That contains all the info the browser needs to forward searches to BIBLOS.
